Pink Inspection, Inc. ("Pink Husky" or "We" or “Us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this private policy (“Private Policy”).

This Private Policy describes:

  1. The types of information we may collect or that you may provide us when you purchase, download, install, register with, access, and/or use: i) the PINK HUSKY mobile application (the "App"); ii) the Pink Husky website at www.pinkhusky.com (“Website”); and iii) any of Pink Husky’s services, products, websites, software, or other mobile applications (collectively referred to as “Services”); and

  2. Pink Husky’s practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Private Policy DOES NOT apply to information that you provide to third parties or is collected by any third party (see Third-Party Information Collection) as these other third parties may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.

Please read this Private Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use the App, the Website, or any of Pink Husky’s Services. By downloading, registering with, or using this App, the Website, or any of Pink Husky’s Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

This Private Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this App, the Website, or any of Pink Husky’s Services after we revise this Private Policy means you accept those changes, so please check this Private Policy periodically for updates.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

When you sign up for a Pink Husky account, the App and/or any of Pink Husky’s Services, we collect information from and about users of our App and Services:

  1. When you provide it to us; and

  2. Automatically when you sign up for a Pink Husky Account, use the App or Pink Husky’s Website and Services

Information You Provide to Us 

 

When you create a Pink Husky Account, download, register with, or use the App, or Pink Husky’s Website or Services, we may ask you to provide information:

  1. By which you may be personally identified, including, but not limited to your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, employer, job title, and/or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (collectively referred to as "Personal Information").

  2. That is about you, but individually does not identify you, including, but not limited to:

  1. credit card or other payment account information, which we may maintain in encrypted form on secure servers and may be required before using the App, or Pink Husky’s Website or Services;

  2. information that you provide by filling in forms in the App or in connection with any of Pink Husky’s Services, including, but not limited to information you provide at the time of registering to use the App, subscribing to any of Pink Husky’s Services, or uploading material in the App;

  3. records and copies of your correspondence, including, but not limited to email addresses and phone numbers, if you contact us;

  4. your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research and/or business purposes;

  5. details of transactions and search queries you carry out through the App and in connection with use of the App, including, but not limited to, any information and files that you upload through the App or the Pink Husky Website; and

  6. information, data, and files that you submit to the App and/or Pink Husky Website in connection with inspections, including, but not limited to property addresses, owner information, insurance-related documents, and the like.

 

You may also provide information for publication or display ("Posted") on public areas of the App, or websites you access through the App or Pink Husky Website (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are Posted and transmitted to others at your own risk. In addition, you may transmit information, data, and filed you upload and/or store in the App and Website by emailing or texting such information to third parties. As a result, we cannot control the actions of third parties and recipients with whom you may choose to share your information, data, files, and User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

 

Automatic Information Collection and Tracking 

When you download, access, and use the App and Website, it may use technology to automatically collect:

  1. Usage Details. When you access and use the App and Website, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the App and Website, including communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through the App and Website;

  2. Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and the device's telephone number;

  3. Stored Information and Files. The App also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, text, personal contacts, and address book information; and

  4. Location Information. The App may collect real-time information about the location of your device (such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device) or information that can be used to approximate a location (such as a cell ID) in connection with Pink Husky’s location-enabled services.

 

Information Collection and Tracking Technologies

We also may use technologies to collect information about your activities over time and across third-party websites, apps, or other online services (i.e. behavioral tracking).

The technologies we use for automatic information collection may include:

  1. Cookies (or mobile cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on your smartphone. It may be possible to refuse to accept mobile cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your smartphone. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our App and Website. We use cookies to improve the quality of the App and our service, store user preferences, and track user trends. We may also use cookies in its advertising services to help advertisers and publishers serve and manage ads across the web. We may set one or more cookies in your browser when you visit Pink Husky’s Website that use our advertising cookies, and view or click on an ad supported by Pink Husky’s advertising services;

  2. Web Beacons. Pages of the App may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit Pink Husky, for example, to count users who have visited those pages and for other related app statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain app content and verifying system and server integrity);

  3. Log information – When you access any of our Services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser; and

  4. User communications – When you send email or other communications to Pink Husky, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

 

Third-Party Information Collection

When you use the App and Website or its content, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device for use in advertising, marketing, and data analysis purposes. These third parties may include:

  1. Advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers.

  2. Analytics companies.

  3. Your mobile device manufacturer.

  4. Your mobile service provider.

 

These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use this App. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information, or they may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services websites. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

 

We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

 

How We Use Your Information

We use and store information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information, to:

  1. Provide you with the App and its contents, and any other information, products or services that you request from us;

  2. Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it;

  3. Give you notices about your account, subscription, including expiration and renewal notices;

  4. Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection; and/or

  5. Notify you when App updates are available, and of changes to any of our Services.

 

The usage information we collect helps us to improve our App and to deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to:

  1. Estimate our audience size and usage patterns;

  2. Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our App according to your individual interests; and

  3. Recognize you when you use the App.

 

Please note that any information or data that you upload and/or submit through the App and/or Website is retained on our servers for a period of time, including any information and data that you delete.  

 

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose Personal Information and/or confidential information that we collect, or you provide (including aggregated information about our users):

  1. To our subsidiaries and affiliates;

  2. To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business;

  3. To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have consented to/not opted out of these disclosures. We contractually require these third parties to keep Personal Information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them;

  4. To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, you can share and send information, data, and/or files uploaded to the App or Website to third parties by inputting one or more email addresses and clicking “send” to transmit such content to the recipients of these email addresses. As another example, you can share and send information, data, and files to one or more recipients through the App by texting such content to one or more recipients. Please note that any information, data, or files that you share to third parties through the App or Website may contain confidential information. As a non-limiting example, if you share an inspection report through our App or Website, the content of that report will be shared, including the contents of the inspection report, the inspector’s personal contact information, and the like. Although we do our best to protect the security of the information and files you upload to the App or Website, we cannot guarantee the security of transmitting such contents through our App. or Website. Any transmission of information and files using our App or Website is at your own risk.

  5. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information;

  6. With your consent;

  7. To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; and

  8. To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.

 

Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of over your information.

  1. Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of the App may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

  2. Location Information. You can choose whether or not to allow the App to collect and use real-time information about your device's location through the device's privacy settings. If you block the use of location information, some parts of the App may become inaccessible or not function properly.

  3. Promotion by the Company. If you do not want us to use your contact information to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out by emailing your request to info@pinkhusky.com .

  4. Targeted Advertising by the Company. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by emailing your request to opt-out at info@pinkhusky.com . You can also always adjust your user advertising preferences in your account profile by checking or unchecking the relevant boxes or by sending us an email stating your request to opt-out.

  5.  Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising and Marketing. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for advertising and marketing purposes, you can opt-out by emailing your request to infor@pinkhusky.com.  

 

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website at https://www.networkadvertising.org/.

 

Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

You can review and change your Personal Information by logging into the App and/or visiting your account profile page.

You may also send us an email at info@pinkhusky.com to request access to, correct, or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your Personal Information except by also deleting your user account.

 

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. To learn more about your California privacy rights, visit: https://oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa.

 

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.

 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted through our App. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

 

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' Personal Information, we will post the new Privacy Policy on this page.
